Logistics Engineer Special Tools & Test Equipment in Bad Segeberg bei RHEINMETALL AG

Execution of measures for the development, procurement and provision of special tools, measuring and testing equipment within the scope of the "production of operational readiness" (Integrated Logistics Support) of armored military tracked vehicles and turret systems.

• Preparation of tool requirement analyses on the basis of specified maintenance activities and repair sequences
• Matching identified tooling requirements against existing and/or adaptable tooling inventories
• Specifying tools/special tools to be developed or procured
• Coordinate the creation of technical documentation (operating instructions) for tools
• Analyze tool handling, transport and storage requirements and specify transport and storage containers
• Designing and assembling tool sets according to specified maintenance concepts
• Preparing and accompanying acceptance tests by customers (presentation of tools and related delivery documentation)
• Recording and maintaining the material data of tools with regard to design changes
• Coordination of work results with national and international customers and suppliers Customers and suppliers
• Preparation of topic-related evaluations and status reports for domestic and international customers

• Technical degree or comparable training with further training as a technician
• Several years of professional experience and good technical understanding
• Knowledge of the industry and/or prior military service (e.g. German Armed Forces) an advantage
• Experience in assessing the use of tools and test equipment in the context of mil. Maintenance (incl. field maintenance)
• Good knowledge of MS-Office and databases
• Good knowledge of English
• High degree of independence, flexibility and special competence esp. ability to work in a team
• Analytical skills and linguistic expression as well as diligence and thoroughness in complex processes
• Ability to work in a team
• Willingness to travel
