To support our Business Development team, we are looking for a
Business Development Manager
(m/f/x, full-time, part-time, to start in January 2023)

Your main tasks will be

• Target and develop individual and corporate clients for ESMT Berlin’s executive and degree education portfolio
• Support our key account management
• Be the primary point of contact for the continuous interaction with HR and people development professionals
• Represent ESMT Berlin or act as support at client meetings, industry events and other functions with occasional travel involved
• Advise and consult executives to achieve their career goals by lifelong learning
• Analyze the higher education market, identify new trends and bring customer feedback into the planning process for our educational offer
• Develop new ideas in customer retention, sales and evaluation and implement business development strategies
• Be a strong everyday promoter of ESMT Berlin’s program portfolio
• Drive joint projects with other organizational units, especially the programs teams and the admission office

You are qualified for this position, because you

• Have experience in working in Business Development or Sales of services, ideally in higher education
• Are deeply interested in people, business and career development
• Have a high appreciation for research and the scientific community
• Are driven by achievement and contributing to a high-performance team
• Have a strong service orientation and very good communication skills
• Are fluent in spoken and written English and preferably in German, too
• Are ready to go the extra mile for your organization, peers & clients
