Functional area: Legal / Compliance

You will be part of the Transactions team of the Onshore Wind and PV unit at RWE Renewables. Our team supports the business development in Europe through M&A and partnering activities. You will support the transactions team in its commercial activities, gathering and providing market intelligence, project divestment and acquisitions.

Your responsibilities:

• Prepare market analysis for different European countries, monitor developments and identify market trends in the industry
• Support business development activities based on RWE Renewables Transaction strategy in Europe
• Provide support in the analysis and preparation of acquisition offers, due diligence processes and associated documentation
• Support the preparation and execution of divestment processes
• Support the design and structure of partnership set-ups
Regular updating of internal databank & reporting tools

Your profile:

• Currently studying towards your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a business, analytical/quantitative or engineering study course
• Understanding of the energy markets & technologies
• Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills coupled with the ability to think through various scenarios
• High level of self-drive and ‘can do’ attitude as well as the ability to work independently
• Desire to continuously improve and challenge the status quo
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Excellent English skills, German would be a plus
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; acting comfortably in intercultural environment
