About the position

For this position, the 'initial commit' would belong to you and you'd have the opportunity to be part of our core team that is shaping the engineering culture of the organisation, working with our Lead Backend Engineer and leading the development of our platform with potential to build a team of engineers around you. Business fluent in English, with excellent communication skills

What's required

You’re a strong Java Engineer with 4+ years of experience.

You’re fluent with Spring Framework(Core, Boot, Security, JPA) Hibernate, Postgres

You’ve worked with microservice based architecture before and you know common problems and solutions.

You know design and architectural patterns and best practices for keeping code in good shape.

You love automated testing and know how to do it well.

You don’t need a lot of supervision and able to take a lead when required.

You are fine with learning new things and sharing new knowledge with a team.

Nice to have

You understand AWS infrastructure and can do some DevOps work when needed (no worries - you don’t have to be expert in that).

You have previous experience in the fintech domain
