You will enjoy having this responsibility:
In this function you will be responsible for the digitalization, implementation, maintenance and further development of Engineering Processes to ensure an effective, efficient and standardized approach in our development projects and support a culture of Continuous Improvement. You will identify potential to reduce waste in a safety critical and highly regulated environment.
It also involves the following tasks:

You will be responsible for defining, modelling and digitalising our process workflows in our process modelling tool as well as deploying them within our Engineering area. Your responsibility includes overall Engineering activities including Configuration Management, Defect Management and Engineering Change Management processes

In addition you will initiate and support the implementation of new improvement activities in the areas of Systems Engineering and Product Development

You will deploy agile development methods as well as modelling and documentingnew processes and practices

Furthermore, in this role it is necessary to stay in touch with other process engineers across the organization to ensure consistency and to train and coach for process participants

Your tasks also involve the definition of suitable process metrics to enable measurement of the effectiveness and efficiency of the Engineering processes
You have:

You have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in a technical subject or similar and at least 5 years’ experience in a technical role

You have experience and knowledge in process improvement methods and ideally you have a good understanding of complex systems and software development and the typical tools which are used, e.g. Polarion, DOORS, ClearCase, GIT, ClearQuest, Jira as well as process modelling tools such as Stages

You are very interested in and passionate about process improvements

As a team player you have good communication skills and you are able to moderate groups of people in workshops

Beyond that you have strong problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills

You are fluent in English, verbally and written and you have preferable good German skills
