Amer Sports is seeking a skilled Cyber Security Architect to join our dedicated team in Garching near Munich. As a member of our Cyber Security Risk Management team, you will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing robust security measures across our global operations.

What you will be doing:

• Driving Cyber Security Strategy: You will contribute to and drive our company-wide Cyber Security strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.

• Architectural Expertise: Leverage your expertise to secure public clouds, on-premise clusters, global networks, or Microsoft 365 environments. You will design and update architecture patterns, guides, and controls to enhance our security posture.

• Policy Adherence and Consultation: Deeply understand Amer Sports' security policies, standards, and controls. You'll consult with business and technical stakeholders on their application, ensuring compliance and effective risk mitigation.

• Collaboration and Support: Engage with enterprise and software architects, applying cutting-edge architecture methods to enhance collaboration and drive security improvements.

• Risk Management: Support the team in conducting risk assessments and developing risk treatment plans to strengthen our defenses against emerging threats.

• Reporting and Process Enhancement: Define and support initiatives to enhance security reporting, adapting communication for diverse audiences and improving security-related processes and workflows.

What you need to succeed:

• Expertise and Experience: You have 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT architecture, operations, or security, with at least 3 years executing security assessments and implementing solutions. Your expertise spans public clouds, on-premise setups, global networks, or Microsoft 365.

• Technical Proficiency: A solid understanding of ISO27001-based Information Security Management Systems is essential. You excel in structuring technical documents and policies, supported by clear diagrams and graphics.

• Certifications: Holding one or more professional Security or architect certifications is a definite plus.

• Communication Skills: You possess excellent English language skills and can effectively communicate complex security concepts to diverse audiences.

• Team Player: Your enthusiasm and positive mindset make security discussions engaging. You excel in building strong relationships and thrive in an international, collaborative environment.

• Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field provides a solid foundation for this role.
