In this position, you will be responsible for technically qualifying new orders through feasibility studies and recommending suitable SmartRay 3D sensor products. Additionally, you will develop application software and build strong customer relationships to ensure high satisfaction. • Technical qualification of new orders in house, on site or online using technical feasibility studies on customer samples and recommending the right SmartRay 3D sensor product
• Supporting customers with advanced technical feasibility studies by developing GUI or console based application software to provide customers with the best "3D solution consultation"
• Develop software code for customer applications based on third-party vision metrology software tools
• Build trusting long-term customer relationship and ensure high customer satisfaction time
• Conduct product demonstrations for potential customers

• University degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or comparable qualifications
• First experience as an application engineer in the machine vision and/or metrology industry
• A few years of experience in software programming using C#, C++

• En: C1 – Advanced
• Ge: B2 – Upper Intermediate

• Experience of 3D machine vision, ideally experience with 3D laser triangulation
• A few years of experience in application development, in machine vision and/or metrology software
