Job Description
In Consumer Panel Services, we believe that constant innovation is the key to improving the experience of our panelists while increasing the pertinence and quality of their reported data. To achieve this goal, we have developed a coding framework that automatically enriches shop receipts to reduce the work for our panelists.
The Machine Learning Engineer will join our cross-functional team of other ML engineers and data scientists and develop new components for our coding framework. The Machine Learning Engineer will work closely with SREs and software engineers to integrate our DS/ML components into our data processing pipelines.
You Will:

Develop Data Science and ML components from research to production.

Apply coding best practices. Write simple, maintainable code that is well-tested and documented. Perform code review in a timely and constructive way to increase our overall code quality.

Work on an efficient CI/CD pipeline to continuously deploy our improvements to the production environment.

Set up and refine ML pipelines. Define model quality and set up a monitoring and alerting system.

Work closely with software engineers and SREs on the integration of our components.

Help to set standards and develop best practices in the the way we do Machine Learning . Foster ML knowledge across the team and the consumer panel organization.

Present your achievements to a broader audience, i.e. during agile ceremonies, internal knowledge-sharing events or conferences.

Support and contribute to cross-team projects and communities of practice.
You Have:
What you bring to the role

Solid knowledge of machine learning algorithms, preferably in the area of NLP and text recognition.

Significant experience with running ML pipelines in production and model monitoring.

Experience with git and CI/CD pipelines.

Working experience with our most of our tech-stack.

Very good verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
Preferable (but not essential)

Experience with working in an agile enviroment (Scrum, JIRA)

Ability to think abstractly and come up with creative and innovative solutions.

Constant improvement mindset.

Degree in machine learning or other field that reflects strong statistical/mathematical/computer science skills.

Several years of applicable work experience
