Job Information

The Maintenance & Repair Centre Manager COS manages the total Aftermarket section in the branch, including Parts, Workshop and Service Admin (if available) and handles customer service interactions, reports and repairs. S/he is directly reporting to the Branch manager.

Role & Responsibility

Leadership

Responsible for the planning and control of internal workflows in the workshop according to the specifications of the business
Disciplinary management of the workshop (incl. administration service) and the spare parts section
Implementation of personnel measures and personnel development
Ensuring the knowledge level of all employees by planning targeted training and further education measures

Manage Financial Reporting Function

Responsible for turnover and profitability refer to maintenance & repair
Preparation of cost estimates
Continuous improvement of internal workflows in Aftermarket refer to technical as well as economic aspects, incl. expansion of the corresponding key figure system (KPI)

General

Ensuring high quality service and support
Preparation of quotations and follow-up
Carrying out service actions according to company specifications
Preparation and follow-up of warranty/guarantee/guarantee claims
Ensuring and complying with workplace safety and environmental protection regulations
Technical support of the sales staff
Ordering spare parts
Securing and maintaining stock according to company specifications
Preparation of work cards and assembly reports for invoicing purposes
Implementation of service actions according to company specifications
Participation in projects for the continuous improvement of service performance
Permanent observation of the market and dissemination of information within the company
Support of the technical support

Job Requirement

Education & Qualification:
- Qualification as a mechanic for agricultural and construction machinery technology (m/f), motor vehicle mechatronics technician - commercial vehicle technology (m/f) or comparable training/apprentice as well as several years of professional experience

Knowledge & Skill
Job-related

Several years of professional experience in the repair and maintenance of construction machinery
Successfully completed further training as a master craftsman would be an advantage
Leadership experience and natural authority
