Location:- Hyderabad

Role: Performance QA Engineer

Shift:- 1:00 PM IST to 10:00 PM IST

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any other related field

· Should have at least 5 years of experience in Performance Testing with excellent expertise in one or more load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, Azure Load Test etc.)

· Proficient in utilizing Azure DevOps for performance testing activities, including test planning, test case management, test execution, and result analysis.

· Knowledge in AWS / AZURE / or any cloud service technology

• Strong proficiency in utilizing Selenium for front-end (UI) test automation for web applications
  

· Demonstrated capability to drive out Test Strategies in a large organization and to oversee the testing team activities and initiatives for best practices

· Strong understanding of the Oracle Database architecture and concepts

Primary Responsibilities:

· Evaluate application architectures and design performance test plans

· Comprehensive understanding of software test methodologies including the white box, black box, functional, unit, feature, regression, integration, performance, and scalability

· Experience automating test cases for cloud, web-based or desktop applications beyond record/playback

· Establish performance and load test objectives, acceptance criteria, workload profiles and use case scenarios

· Build modular automated performance test scripts to identify load and scalability concerns for web-based applications and mobile applications utilizing SOA design and APIs (JSON/HTTPS)

· Utilizing load, stress, and analysis tools to model performance scenarios, perform initial analysis using performance monitoring tool and identify potential system and resources bottlenecks

· Analyze performance results and produce relevant reports and quality metrics with suggestions for improvements

· Research new ways of performance, load, & stress testing and recommend system configuration and tuning improvements based on observations

· Work with 3rd party vendors, contract developers and/or partners as required

· Positive attitude, result oriented, demonstrating Accountability and Ownership using a variety of techniques and collaboration

· Work under the Technical Test Team Leader/Manager delivering non-functional test solutions that meet defined objectives, schedule, standards, cost targets and reflect the technical test strategy
