The 18-month trainee program starting April 1, 2024 is made up of three assignments in Germany and globally: In your target area Digital Systems you will work with our digital offering in Electrification and Automation. This includes products for the secure delivery of supervision, control, data acquisition, storage and performance reporting of electrification and production assets, scaling from single switchgear to unified multi-site factory solutions.You will start in the product team of ABB Zenon and be responsible for product-related global marketing activites. During your next assignment and depending on your inclination you will have the opportunity to gain a holistic view and further experiences in engineering, project management, sales or technical support. You can gain an intercultural experience during a six-month stay abroad at one of our international locations in North America, North or South Asia, Europe or Middle East. Team Lead Product Unit
- Responsible for creating and planning the marketing (and communications) strategies in accordance with global sales and product strategy
- Develop specific market strategies based on detailed market and potential analysis of countries, regions and segments
- Supporting local sales organizations with the implementation of a digital marketing strategy in the assigned area
- Defining and communicating our digital value propositions in accordance with the global product and marketing strategy.
- In coordination with the responsible sales organizations build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers and opinion leaders.
- Monitor digital market trends and recommend adjustments for the strategy, and plans accordingly to meet changing market and competitive landscapes.
- Develop and use marketing tools, digital sales trainings and presentation as well as digital product materials
- Strong collaboration with global product management monitoring markets and supporting during product launches
- Successfully completed bachelor's degree in information technology, electrical engineering or industrial engineering.
- Ideally internships / working student activities in a sales-related position, such as product branding, project management, sales or product management.
- Advantage would be a first international experience in the context of an internship/semester abroad
- Clear hands-on mentality with the self-conception to tackle and implement topics
- You are a team player and convince through commitment, strong communication skills and customer orientation
- Enjoy working in an international environment and intercultural exchange with colleagues
- Fluent in written and spoken German and English, ideally you are proficient in another foreign language, e.g. Spanish
