Responsibilities
As part of our Global Sales team and reporting to the Global Sales Director, this role ensures the smooth transition of global accounts from the department of Global Tender Management to Global Key Account Management and later to the local entities. The spectrum of the daily business includes but is not limited to the following:
- Define implementation scopes, detailed working packages and account implementation plans
- Manage multiple implementations for all customers until successful handover to the local operational teams
- Develop and align customer operational processes for global key account targets
- Set up customer on Röhlig’s IT landscape
- Take ownership of the customer onboarding process and translate customer reporting requirements to the local operative system
- Provide support and train operations and after account Go-Live
Requirements
- Apprenticeship in forwarding, transportation or shipping, or university degree
- Minimum of 4 years relevant working experience in customer management within the freight forwarding industry
- Very good English language skills with English as the primary working language, German and/or Spanish language skills are an added advantage
- Excellent customer relationship management skills and problem-solving capabilities
- High attention to detail including follow through, complemented by ability to organize and prioritize while under pressure
- Project management competencies
- Readiness to travel occasionally
