Your future plans
The Enterprise Integration department is responsible for various applications and services around the trading business. Such as the implementation of a Tick-Data solution or the enterprise transport bus ‘Nexus’.

The Tick-Data system processes orders and trades from different venues in order to offer a central endpoint for historic and real-time data (based on Kafka).
The Nexus-Bus defines the standardised way of trade booking and curve transportation (based on ActiveMQ).

The following technologies are currently in use:

Various AWS Services (e. g.: ECS for Docker containers), Infrastructure build pipelines based on Terraform, Monitoring via Elastic, Kafka / ActiveMQ, PostgresSQL as data source, Azure Board (AzureDevOps).

The team operates in two squads and follows SCRUM / DevOps best practices.

• Design and build Java applications and services
• Operate applications in the Cloud (AWS)
• You will implement enhancements to existing applications / adapters
• Contribute your knowledge and your innovative ideas in new projects
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, designers, and product managers, to deliver high-quality software solutions
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in backend development

Your powerful skills

• You have gained first experience in Java development
• Demonstrably good knowledge of agile software development
• Understanding of data modelling, application development and testing methods
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
• You are highly motivated, reliable and able to work self-organized

Advantageous, but not a must

• Experience in integrating Enterprise Systems preferred
• Experience with messaging systems (e. g.: Kafka and/or ActiveMQ)
• Familiar with cloud technologies and concepts (AWS) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
