We are currently seeking a Accounting Clerk to support our Finance Team in Munich. This position is also available as part-time (80% or 32 hours).
About the Team:
The local team is part of the global billing organization and is responsible for invoicing services and products used by our customers.
About the Role:
As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately invoicing customers based on contractual agreements and complying with internal and external regulations.
What You Will Do:
- Maintain and process new and ongoing contracts, licenses, maintenance agreements, and service agreements
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings
- Contribute to revenue forecasting
- Ensure compliance with prescribed control systems and regulations (e.g. US GAAP)
- Be the point of contact for assigned customers' inquiries
- Support sales in proposal and contract creation
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Experience in invoicing
- Experience with financial and billing systems/processes (e.g. SAP, Oracle)
- Ability to read and understand contracts
- Structured and independent work style
- Clear, concise, and professional communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team and prioritize customer satisfaction
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Fluent German and good English language skills (verbal and written)
