In the Faculty I: School of Arts and Humanities, Department of Social Sciences, Professorship of Political Science - Political System of the BRD, we are looking for a researcher at the earliest possible date at the following conditions:
- 100% = 39,83 hours
- Pay grade 13 TV-L
- limited contract for three years with possibility of extension
- Teaching in social sciences degree programms with a teaching load of 4 semester hours per week
- Scientific work aimed at a doctorate in the fields of public opinion and political behaviour research
- Participation in the supervision of students and in the development of research projects and publications
- Above-average academic university degree (master's degree or comparable degree) in a social science field of study (e.g. political science, social sciences or sociology)
- Very good knowledge of empirical social research methods and quantitative data analysis with Stata or R
- Very good knowledge of German and English
- Interest in topics of public opinion and political behaviour research
- Interest in the development and implementation of a doctoral project in public opinion and political behaviour research using quantitative methods and with references to the research areas of the professorship
- Ability to work in a team, high motivation and commitment as well as the ability to work independently
- Support of own scientific or artistic qualification according to the Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz (Promotion)
