As a Data Scientist, you will be part of a team of data science and engineering experts, focused on enabling the transformation programs across the global organization, with a particular focus on advanced analytics. Our goal is to build and enhance the capabilities required to be the insurer of choice for our target segments. In this role you will be responsible for interacting with business functions in identifying opportunities for advanced analytics solutions with potential business impact and lead the development and deployment of models into production. You will collaborate across all functions with respect to data and technology to ensure a standard delivery of services, products and capabilities that foster profitable growth for Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS).

What You’ll Do:

Work together with business functions and Product Owners to conceive, design and implement end-to-end data driven solutions to support the strategic priorities of AGCS.
Create predictive and prescriptive models to support the strategic business goals and evaluate the results and ensure realization of business benefits.
Measure and track impact of the developed solutions through business KPIs. Present result of analyses to business owners and share knowledge with team members.
Liaise with various business areas on availability and quality of data and technology to ensure use of the best technology to enable the success of our analytics solutions.
Contribute to and shape the future of data science at AGCS by developing and distributing best practices, by mentoring and advising local teams on how to solve data and technical challenges, and by helping to coordinate a global community of experts.
Ensure synergies and scalability of exploratory solutions across business capabilities with respect to data science and outcomes and work with business experts, IT and the wider Allianz group to ensure a seamless transition of transformation projects into production.
Investigate new data technologies and collaborate with other Allianz Group functions and Operating Entities to adopt state-of-the-art technology in accordance with Group standards.
