ABOUT THIS ROLE
We’re looking for a motivated and committed working student to join our EU Audible Studios team. In this position, you will mainly support our producers and production managers with the development and production of new and exciting fictional and nonfictional stories for audio (podcasts, audio dramas, audio book series). You will take ownership of enabling the team to create our original program. Mainly, you will be helping to ensure workflows from pitch to publishing, collaborate with Audible brand, marketing, content lifecycle and finance, and communicate with authors and other partners.
As working student EU Originals, you will...
- Support authors, agencies and editors in setting up billing profiles.
- Oversee purchase orders, authors’ remuneration and invoices.
- Support the team in administrative and operational tasks (i.e. sending and filing contracts, recording costs against budgets).
- Communicate with our external partners (i.e. authors, agencies and editors).
- Prepare and format scripts, prepare text samples and extracts
- Research editorial, conceptual and organizational subjects.
- Create texts, presentations, booklets and marketing briefings.
- Evaluate pitches and scripts in different languages.

Basic Qualifications
- You are enrolled in either your first Bachelor or Master in Berlin/Brandenburg and have at least 1 year of studies left.
- Business fluency in German and English, written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional European language ability (Spanish, French, or Italian in particular).
- Some experience (e.g. through internships) in the media industry is a bonus.
- You are interested in trends and new developments in culture, literature, film and video.
- You are able to take ownership and work independently.
- You have an eye for details, and work in a structured and qualitative manner.
- You have the ability to work on operational tasks within a creative environment.
- You have proficient MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint) and you enjoy learning new tools.
OUR OFFER
- Support for ca. 20h per week, compensated with 14,-€ per hour.
