Cerence offers an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer to take part in the development of the state-of-the-art Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) system that is used by millions of users every day.
About the role:
This is an exciting time to join us and shape the future of mobility as a C/C++ Software Developer in one of our multi-national Cerence teams. The role will involve engineering our latest core technologies into our embedded and cloud products. You will implement C/C++ solutions, ensure the quality of the product, and provide tooling around the product API.
What you will do:

You will be part of the full cycle of the development of a software solution including prototyping, design, implementation, documentation, testing, support, and maintenance

You will design and implement C/C++ APIs and write Python tools for the API users

You will contribute to the improvement of software quality

You will take active part in the daily scrums and regular backlog refinements
Who you are:
-
You have 2+ years of experience in the Software / Tech industry, ideally with object-oriented programming
-
You are proficient in the programming language C/C++ and Python
-
You have strong understanding of the algorithms and data structures
-
You have good knowledge of concurrent computing and multi core programming
-
You have worked with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab pipelines
-
You are fluent in English and are familiar with agile methodologies

You have strong analytical skills and enjoy working in a multinational environment
