The Bruker Nano Analytics (BNA) Division, headquartered at Bruker Nano GmbH in Berlin, Germany, develops, manufactures, and markets analytical instruments for electron microscopes, X-ray systems and components, allowing materials characterization down to the nanoscale.
We are looking for an Electronics Development Engineer (m/f/d) specialized on FPGA development to strenghten our young and innovative team in Berlin.
Aufgaben/Verantwortlichkeiten:
Main field of responsibility is to ensure the competitiveness of the employer's products by developing innovative and economical solutions in the field of electronics design engineering with special focus on FPGA development. The position covers the full development process from idea to product.
- Design and implementation of FPGA projects for data aquisition, processing and transfer.
- Contribution to the development guidelines.
- Further improvement and expansion of the exising testing framework.
- Setting-Up operation and debugging on complex electronic boards.
- Preparation and execution of system level testing.
- Design of unit tests and testing automation.
- Supporting and enhancing development projects to productize new products.
- Documentation, archiving and maintenance of all product data.
- Cooperation and coordination of internal and external partners.
Qualifikationen:
- University degree in electrical engineering, information technology or a related field
- experience in FPGA design (ideally with VHDL)
- knowledge of microcontrollers and embedded processors, SoCs
- knowledge in analog and digital circuit design
- subject specific technical knowledge and expertise
- an eye for detail and a methodical work process
- IT and CAD knowledge (i.e. Xilinx Vivado, Altium)
- analytical and numeracy skills, creative problem solving ability
- the ability to successfully contribute to team work using effective communication skills to liaise with team members, clients, contractors and others involved in the design process
- efficient in written communication as well as being able to write reports
- time management, organisation, and the ability to work to deadlines
- a flexible approach to work and the ability to adapt to change
- a driven, self-motivated attitude and the ability to use initiative
- capable of working in an international team
