Internal Audit & Security strengthens RWE's resilience to external and internal threats and risks so that the company can respond adequately to challenges. Our team actively supports RWE's "Growing Green" strategy by providing independent audit services. We aim to add value and support RWE in the continuous improvement of its business processes.
To strengthen our dynamic, international and diverse Internal Audit team, we are looking for a committed individual in the IT / OT area.
- Perform business-oriented audits with a focus on IT, OT, system integrity / security, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations, standards and best practices
- Identification and assessment of business risks in the IT / OT environment and development of strategies and recommendations to mitigate risks, and increase effectiveness, efficiency and security
- Contribution to further development of governance structures and IT / OT-related processes
- Clear and comprehensible communication of audit results to management
- Collaboration with colleagues from the Internal Audit team and with colleagues in all Group companies when conducting audits
- Travelling in Germany and abroad (probably approx. 25%)
Your powerful skills
- University degree in (business) informatics, sciences or engineering, or comparable qualification
- Experience in IT / OT, in an operational or in an audit role, e.g. knowledge of system integration, IT security and OT technologies
- Strong IT affinity and confident handling of process data processing, ERP systems, Microsoft Office products and data analysis tools
- Very good German and English in spoken and written form, as well as a good command of expression, are essential
- Open, positive, curious and motivated personality with excellent communication skills, the willingness to take responsibility, and the ability to work independently on exciting, cross-company, international tasks
Adantageous, but not a must
- Relevant professional certifications (such as CIA and CISA) or other certifications in IT security or OT technologies, and/or willingness to obtain these
- Understanding of the energy industry and its interrelationships
- Experience as a project manager
