Your Tasks: ACCOUNTING: You provide insights into the financial health of the company. You will handle the preparatory accounting (accounts receivable & accounts payable) and prepare accurate monthly and annual financial statements, including closing entries and reports, as well as notes and management reports.
INVOICING: You are responsible for parts of the invoicing, the entire dunning process or receivables management as well as account clarification. As a bridge between the team and our clients, you ensure smooth processing and strengthen our client relationships from your perspective.
SPARRING PARTNER: You communicate relevant content and information from the field of accounting by presenting complex topics in a simple and understandable way and acting as a reliable internal sparring partner. In short, you make the world of finance tangible for our team.
COMMUNICATOR: You act as a communicative interface with tax advisors, auditors and other stakeholders. You guarantee a clear, reliable exchange and ensure a positive perception of the finance department.
DEVELOPMENT: You will develop your own ideas for the continuous optimisation and automation of our accounting processes and play a key role in their implementation. In the long term, you will potentially also take over payroll accounting.
Your Profile: EDUCATION: An apprenticeship as a tax clerk, tax specialist or financial studies form the basis of your expertise. Additional qualifications (e.g. accountant) are an absolute plus and your knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB) is well-founded and up-to-date.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: You have relevant professional experience in accounting and therefore have solid expertise in operational accounting, especially with regard to monthly and annual financial statements as well as accounting and receivables management.
AFFINITY FOR NUMBERS: You are passionate about numbers and finance. You have an excellent understanding of figures and an analytical mindset. Your way of working is always solution-oriented and independent, and characterised by confidentiality and diligence.
SOFTWARE: You are confident in the world of digital and modern accounting systems and can familiarise yourself with new tools. Ideally, you have experience with the Agenda software.
COMMUNICATION: You are fluent in German and English, are able to present complex issues in a simple way, and are not afraid to communicate and exchange ideas with internal and external partners.
INNOVATIVE SPIRIT: You think outside the box, always keep an eye on potential for improvements and are not afraid to rethink processes and structures and actively initiate and implement changes.
