Staff Engineer Software Development – MOTEON (iv) in Ilmenau bei Infineon Technologies

In your new role you will:

• Collaboration in the implementation of embedded software within a team
• Joint modeling of architecture concepts in UML for embedded software
• Creation of software requirements and test specifications based on system requirements
• Compilation of development environments and test setups
• Replication of effects on motor control test setups and solving of mechatronic problems within a team
• Contribution to interdisciplinary mechatronic projects to deepen your application knowledge

You take responsibility for common goals and prioritize team results over personal interests. You focus your efforts on solutions that create value for both sides. You bring team spirit and a passion for developing new and creative ideas.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Have completed a degree in engineering computer science, mechatronics, electrical engineering or in a comparable course of study
• Have over 3-5 years of experience in embedded software design and software development - ideally in the automotive industry
• Bring programming skills in C; first programming experience with Python for test automation is a plus
• Be familiar with Atlassian tools like JIRA, Confluence and Bitbucket
• Have an interest in the function and potential of microcontrollers
• Have experience in working with oscilloscopes and embedded software trace tools
• Fluent in written and spoken English - German language is a plus.
