In this role, you will develop and implement an ecosystem of solutions, products, and services to help our customers in Broadcast industry take full advantage of their resources in critical live production through connected hybrid on-premises and Cloud capabilities. You Will
You will develop and improve the sales of Sony’s Broadcast Products and Solutions portfolio through our Partners and key customers in Germany focusing on Live Production and IP network technology. You will handle the relationship with key customers at different levels to develop opportunities in these markets as well as the acquisition of new customers. You will work closely with the Marketing and Delivery teams in Sony to develop and qualify business opportunities and support the expansion of solution selling as a top priority.
In Detail
- Achieve budgeted sales and profit for Professional Media products and solutions through both Key Accounts and Channel Partners
- Develop and maintain periodic account plans with each customer account to ensure clear actions are agreed to achieve set targets
- Identify new opportunities and submit for qualification, and ensure that qualified opportunities are developed
- Ensure that bids and proposals are delivered for qualified opportunities
- Up-selling throughout the project delivery phase
- Maintain and keep updated sales pipeline and forecast tools
- Establish effective relationships and networks at all levels within the customer organization to achieve a high level of intelligence and planning
- Understand key account and top channel Executive strategy and bring Sony’s services to their requirements
- Negotiate and set quantitative rebate targets for Channel Partners
- Decide relevant actions with Channel Partners to improve sales and build account plans in line with customer strategic objectives
- Support local and international events/tradeshows.
- Develop relationships with key end-user influencers and consultants
You Will Bring
- Relevant university education preferably in Business and/or Engineering or equivalent experience
- Relevant Key Account & Channel management experience in Broadcast/Media or High-Tech industry
- Familiarity with the German Broadcast/Media industry
- Consultative selling experience as well as Channel Planning
- Fluent in German and English verbally & written.
- Shown success of delivering sustained incremental sales and profit for a sales organization
- Resilient, you’re somebody who can overcome obstacles and establish relationships
