Your tasks:
- As the Manager Human Rights at Bausch + Lomb, you will play a pivotal role in developing and managing the European integrated Human Rights Risk Management legislative requirements across all current and future European locations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Track and manage European Human Rights Risk Management legislation
- Develop compliance protocols for various Human Rights Risk Management legislations (incl. Act on Corporate Due Diligence Obligations in Supply Chains (LkSG))
- Collaborate with corporate leaders to ensure compliance with legal requirements of respective legislation and due diligence obligations
- Support business function leaders in meeting compliance requirements
- Manage Human Rights Risk Management analysis/data on a central platform, communicate findings to internal decision-makers, and ensure ongoing compliance documentation
- Update and publish the Declaration of Principles regularly
- Support all business functions in defining and implementing prevention and remedial measures to minimize human rights and environmental risks
- Lead project teams and engage in industry initiatives on human rights and sustainability
Your profile:
- A university degree or equivalent in Environmental Social Governance, sustainable business management, business administration, law, social sciences, political science, economics or a related field
- High degree of motivation to implement the requirements of human rights and environmental risk management legislation
- Structured way of working
- Knowledge of the European human rights and environmental risk management legislation is required
- Excellent skills in dealing with stakeholders at various hierarchical levels
- Exceptional interpersonal, analytical and communication skills
- Demonstrable project management skills, especially with experience in managing projects in an international company
- Exceptional knowledge of MS Office applications and relevant software applications
- Excellent command of written and spoken English, German and French
