Department and Job Purpose
Purpose:
As the Sales Director for scale markets, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and building strong customer relationships in the European market. Your strategic leadership will be instrumental in achieving sales targets, fostering a high-performance sales team, and contributing to the overall success and profitability of the organization.
Critical Results:
- Revenue Growth and profitability:
o Develop and execute long term strategic business plans for the scale markets and strategic accounts to grow Net revenues and profitability, to ensure the Brand positioning and assortment segmentation strategies lead to profitable growth. Plans will include segmentation and operational improvements, assortment differentiation, marketing initiatives, Terms & Conditions negotiations.
o Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to expand the company's presence in the apparel industry across the scale markets and grow market share for the Brand.
o Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth mindset and continuous improvement.
- Customer Relationship Management:
o Establish and nurture strong relationships with key partners to deliver joint business plans.
o Hold regular QBR (quarterly business review) meetings with strategic Key Accounts to monitor results, progress and update strategies and actions.
o Terms & conditions and Ensure proper contractual agreement are in place and diligently updated Negotiate
o Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Identify key market segments, customer profiles, and growth opportunities.
- Deliver the framework processes for robust and reliable forecast accuracy, including the weekly operations review and annual / quarterly forecast processes for these .com accounts.
- Support the product investment forecasting process in collaboration with the planning team by giving clear strategic directions and growth opportunities derived from sell-in to sell-out methodology
Revenue Generation:
- Set and achieve ambitious sales targets, monitor performance, and take corrective actions when necessary.
- Deliver the framework processes for robust and reliable forecast accuracy, including the weekly operations review and annual / quarterly forecast processes.
Market share growth:
- Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels to expand market reach in line with brand strategies
- Conduct market research to stay informed about consumer preferences and industry trends.
Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.
- Foster a culture of diversity & inclusion, accountability, teamwork, growth mindset and continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring their professional development.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key partners
- Maintain distribution in compliance of Levi’s Retail Network and Terms & Conditions.
Performance Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyse sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management. Use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandise, planning, marketing, product development, and supply chain, to ensure a seamless and integrated approach to business grow
