In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop an effective division sales strategy within the specified regional market scope and maintain it, to improve B&R’s market penetration and realize growth aspirations. Every day you define, plan, manage and ensure the implementation of the sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets for automation solutions to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, sales productivity and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the German B&R Sales organization to achieve the sales targets, through high performance. The work model for the role is: Hybrid This role is contributing to the Machine Automation Divison in Friedberg. You will be mainly accountable for: • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve corporate objectives for solutions and services, ensuring alignment with identified opportunities and resource allocation. • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, taking proactive remedial actions as necessary. • Coordinate with other departments (e.g., application & service, marketing, product development) to align sales strategies with overall business goals. • Provide leadership and mentorship for regional Team Leads, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations, maintaining high standards of business ethics and integrity. • Oversee the development and execution of training programs for the sales team to enhance skills and knowledge. • Act as the primary representative of B&R to customers, embodying the company's values and ensuring a positive, solution-oriented customer experience that strengthens relationships and fosters long-term partnerships. • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows, building brand awareness and establishing strong industry connections. • Identifying and evaluating new opportunities with existing and potential customers, determines plans for implementation, and allocates required resources. • Participating in the negotiation of key contracts.
