SPA has an immediate need for two Senior Nuclear Weapons Training and Exercise Analysts.
Responsibilities:
Requires extensive experience working with Joint Special Operations units, extensive Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) experience and familiarity operating in an international environment, working with NATO organizations, and interagency partners. This Performance Requirement includes: 1) Synchronizing European Nuclear Weapon Accident Incident (NWAI) lines of effort with partner nations, 2) Designing, planning, and executing full scale nuclear weapons exercises, 3) Authoring and coordinating applicable training materials, 4) Coordinating and tracking DTRA provided NWAI training to partner nations and US organizations, 5) Organizing, coordinating, executing and providing expertise in CONUS/OCONUS Nuclear Weapons Training/Exercises and Conventional-Nuclear Integration efforts, 6) Organizing, coordinating, executing, and supporting meetings, exercise planning, evaluation testing, studies, and crisis support/emergency response pertaining to nuclear weapons operations to include providing support and administration to working groups, conferences, and pre/post-meeting support, 7) Updating and maintaining accident/incident response website(s) and databases, 8) Assisting in the development, maintenance, execution, and presentation of the nuclear weapon accident incident response management courses, e.g., the Nuclear Weapon Incident Response Training –OCONUS (NWIRT-O), 9) Reviewing, validating, assessing, and assisting in the development of National and DoD nuclear weapon accident incident response policy and procedures, 10) Planning, organizing, coordinating, executing, and tracking multiple concurrent trainings, exercises,TTXs, workshops, seminars, meetings, and conferences, 11) Reviewing international agreements, joint plans, and other documents at the strategic, operational, and tactical levels of Command and Control, 12) Validating DoD and interagency policies, plans, and procedures through exercises -Assessing DoD nuclear weapon security policy, 13) Overseeing implementation and effectiveness of nuclear weapon incident readiness (international NUWAIX) through participation in and support of high-level interagency working groups and conferences, 14) Providing support for facilitating international communications and training, 15) Aiding in ensuring cohesive, effective, and efficient responses to nuclear weapon accidents across international partner Government agencies, 16) Providing instructors/facilitators for international inter/intra-agency training, 17) Providing training materials, lesson plans, agendas, handbooks, etc. and 18) Producing technical reports and providing briefings to senior leaders.

Required Qualifications:
- Has 15 years of demonstrated experience performing the Requirement and a MA/MS degree.OR 20 years of demonstrated experience performing the Requirement and a BA/BS.
- The Sr Nuclear Weapons Training and Exercise Analyst requires extensive experience working with Joint Special Operations units, extensive Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) experience and familiarity operating in an international environment, working with NATO organizations, and inter-agency partners.
- An active Top Secret security with SCI eligibility clearance is required with the ability to maintain throughout duration of employment.
