Key responsibilities
Accountable for the assigned CE revenue targets of the team.
Lead the development and execution of a regional active solution sales strategy including the development of relationships in untapped, emerging, and non-traditional industries.
Lead the development of Visa's enabler approach with the specific focus to support new verticals.
Lead the development and execution of a dedicated mobility approach, including transit, EV charging and automotive transformation.
Responsible for building a deal pipeline to generate services revenues – such as CMS/Visa Direct, Visa R&I or Acceptance Solutions.
Develop scalable acceptance solutions for Visa clients in CE.
Establish a solution-based sales approach for all sales initiatives within the team.
Educating sales force on the latest innovation in industries and solutions approach, highlighting Visa's value proposition.
Provide knowledge sharing, coaching and training for the sales team in the region.
Partner and establish cross-functional, focused teams with other functional areas (e.g., Visa Acceptance Platform, Visa Consulting & Analytics, Merchants and Acquirers, FinTech, Data Analytics, Client Services, Product, Marketing) to execute sales opportunities and subsequent projects to increase and broaden Visa acceptance.
Work with external and internal partners to develop localized and custom value propositions based on Visa's existing suite of products, APIs and data analytics (e.g., TINK, CurrencyCloud, VPL etc.).
Represent Visa in Conferences and Industry Events – as speaker and presenter.
Provide thought Leadership and build trusted relationships, internally and externally.
Understand and enhance deal commercials to align investment and target the right opportunities.
Conduct cross-functional due diligence efforts with prospective partners, including financial, product, marketing, technical & systems assessment.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
10+ years of substantial business experience with 5+ years' experience managing strategic relationships with financial services and technology solution providers.
Excellent team leadership with a track record leading cross-functional (e.g., product, sales, strategy, marketing) and cross-regional teams.
Strong knowledge of the payment, risk management and payment security industry, including card, alternative and local/global traditional ACH/RTP payment processing and its associated regulations.
Demonstrated ability to work closely with a partner's executives to present Visa's strategic vision and negotiate effectively on behalf of the company.
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor addressing a wide variety of functional business problems.
Ability to quickly assess an opportunity's potential, leveraging fact-based analyses and industry experience.
Advanced stakeholder management skills: ability to influence, plan, prioritize, track execution across internal functions and with external partners.
Highly skilled communicator, both written and verbal.
Degree level education.
