For the department “Function Development and Verification” we are looking for an working student supporting all out testing projects. You will operate within the domain “Vehicle Motion and Energy”. At CARIAD, we are the backbone of driving functions and constitute the interface to the automotive mechatronics within the Volkswagen Group. We develop in (agile) teams powertrain, chassis and energy related functionalities, such as motion manager, steering, damper control or the charging of electric vehicles and many more. Thereby, we enable future innovations and new business models.
- Development of tools to partially automate the existing test process
- Creation of scripts for the continuous collection of test metrics for test management
- Independent analysis of existing tools with subsequent optimization/further development and documentation
- Support of the test tool developers in the conception of new tools and in the further development of existing tools
- If necessary, participation in software and system tests
- Enrolled student in the area of engineering or computer science
- Solid Python and Java skills
- Ideally first experience in software and system testing including the associated test tool chain
- Strong analytical understanding, proactive and supportive way of working
- A creative drive and the vision for change
- Communication and networking skills
- Fluent English and German language skills
- Remote work options
- Duration: 6 months
- 20 h/week, up to 35 h/week during semester break
