You will support MSF Germany’s Management Team (MT) in its overall responsibility for equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI). You will coordinate the process of building up MSF Germany’s capacity and competency on EDI on cultural, structural and individual level in line with MSF Germany strategic ambitions.
In your role you will
- Promote the elimination of barriers that limit access, participation, permanence and promotion of any person in the organization, considering a broad range of characteristics, including gender, sexual orientation, disabilities, social background, age, religion, and ethnicity (non-exhaustive list)
- Cooperate and collaborate closely with key stakeholders within MSF-Germany to support the implementation efforts of the EDI Project and lead strategically and conceptually to sustainable impact
- Collaborate with and ensure alignment and cohesion of MSF-G efforts, and aspirations with different MSF DEI teams/committees
- Work to embed EDI in further policies, processes, practices and mechanisms within MSF-G in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders
- Represent MSF-G within the MSF movement and develop synergies with other MSF sections
- Support EDI dossiers managed by the MSF Operational Centre Amsterdam (maximum 20% of time allocated to it) and closely exchange best practices
You Have
- Related bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; Equity studies or work experience in addressing inequities in specific contexts will be valued
- At least 3 years of experience promoting EDI in organizations, including it in strategy development as well as guiding the implementation of EDI related activities within the context of organizational development
- Exposure to international, multi-cultural work environments and deep understanding and passion on EDI issues
- Excellent analytical skills and understand complex organizational contexts while finding creative solutions with all stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience analysing, interpreting, and presenting data
- Fluent in English and German

- Payment according to a transparent internal salary structure; in this position according to group 5 with full-time employment (40h/week) from 4.019 Euro to a maximum of 5.085 Euro, depending on the relevant professional experience
