(Senior) Marketing Manager in Hilchenbach bei SMS group GmbH Mönchengladbach

You will be responsible for the development and implementation of marketing and communications activities for Center of Excellence Flat Products. It´s a versatile role with great impact on the development and expansion of the marketing function. Your tasks will include:

• Development of strategic marketing and communication concepts, coordination of effective implementation and measurement of success. Collaboration with senior management to ensure strategy execution.
• Creation of content with consistent, targeted, and impactful messages for internal and external communication via print and online media – including a Social Media strategy
• Creation of attractive formats and multimedia content, including content specifications for film & photo shoots, for the various target groups
• Support conception and preparation of relevant trade fairs, events and conferences
• Advise internal stakeholders, such as technical sales, on communication issues

• Bachelor/Master degree in Business Administration, Marketing, communications, or other relevant field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role or capacity
• Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with highest quality standards
• Demonstrated experience with social media, Microsoft Office, image editing programs and web content management systems
• Good technical understanding and interest in plant engineering
• Excellent German and English language skills
• High degree of creativity, initiative, result orientation
• Desire to take full ownership of assigned projects and work independently
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Possesses a sense of urgency; is self-motivated and detail-minded
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build collaborative relationships
• Good verbal presentation, group dynamic, and facilitation skills
• Proactive approach in resolving problems and issues
