RWE Renewables is one of the world's largest power producers from offshore wind power and a leading driver of the energy transition. Due to the constant expansion of our renewable generation capacities, we need many new skilled employees - and this is where you come in. As a working student in our Marine Development & Decarbonisation team within the Marine Logistics & Supply Chain department, you will support in the field of Vessel Decarbonisation for Operation & Maintenance vessels. Your role will focus on marine sustainability and decarbonisation initiatives.

Your tasks:

• Supporting with technical calculations for alternative fuel designs and technologies
• Building up comparison charts with guidance for vessel efficiency and GHG emissions to evaluate the environmental and energy efficiency performance
• Guided evaluation of environmental KPIs (e.g. fuel consumption, engine data etc.)
• Research and summary of different source materials
• Preparation of presentation material
• Further tasks based on the students interests and competences will be agreed individually

Your profile:

• Enrolled student e.g. in naval architecture, mechanical engineering (focus area ships machinery) preferably already holding a bachelor’s degree
• Knowledge in energy production and consumption on vessels as also understanding of logistical concepts and port operations
• Knowledge in data visualization is beneficial
• Preferably 12 month available and in masters courses
• Fluent English language skills, as part of your colleagues are not from Germany
