- Freudenberg Sealing Technologies is seeking an enthusiastic Material Development Expert with a passion for technical & high-performance plastics, ready to embark on cutting-edge projects that will shape the future.
- Your Impact:
- Material Development Projects: You will contribute to planning, managing, & implementing groundbreaking material development projects in the realm of plastics. Your focus will be on technical and high-performance plastics, as well as TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomers), ensuring that our materials are at the forefront of technological advancements
- Material Approvals: You will coordinate material approvals with our valued customers, forging strong partnerships & ensuring seamless integration of our innovative materials into their products. Your expertise will be crucial in driving successful collaborations & delivering exceptional results
- Pre-Development & Market Observation: Stay ahead of the curve by engaging in pre-development activities, exploring new horizons in thermoplastics, and continuously monitoring the latest trends and breakthroughs in polymers and fillers. Your insights will help shape our future direction and ensure we remain at the forefront of material science
- Process Optimization: Your knowledge goes beyond materials, you also know how to process, supporting compounding & molding trials
- Investigate Material-Related Issues: As a skilled problem-solver, you will conduct material-related error analyses, identifying & resolving issues to ensure continuous improvement and maintain the highest quality standards
Qualifications
- Education: Diploma or Master's degree in Materials Science, Plastics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Chemistry; Doctorate preferred
- Experience: Involvement & Implementation of projects focused on materials development for thermoplastics
- Plastics Processing & Sealing Technology Expertise
- Skills: Project Management, Cross-cultural & collaborative communication
- Business-level German & English
