IT Business Solutions (IT1.5) executes IT projects for Munich RE and manages many IT products. The subsection IT1.5.3.2 (‘Financial Solutions II’) owns the key relationship with several business units of the CFO. So we execute a lot of projects in the financial area and are responsible for important systems, e.g. for budget-reservation, financial sanctions screening, or tax. As a Business Analyst you will be the primary liaison between project teams and their stakeholders in the business units. You'll elicit requirements and shape business needs, ensuring that the scope is clearly understood and articulated. You'll work with project managers to ensure that the requirements are being met, and that issues are managed proactively.
Your job
- Work closely together with multiple stakeholders to analyze and define business processes and requirements
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications
- Support the Project Manager in delivering the project plan on time and on budget
- Ensure requirements are communicated, understood, and implemented in a timely manner
- Support users participation in implementation activities and testing
- Create an appropriate level of product documentation, following our project methodology – MR Essentials
- Like to work in a highly motivated team
Your profile
- University degree preferably in computer engineering / IT, business administration, or similar qualification
- Several years of experience as a business analyst or related role, ideally within IT or data related projects
- Exceptional analytical skills
- Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills
- History of leading and supporting successful projects
- Positive mindset and willingness to lead a team together with the project manager
