The Branch manager is responsible for the managing the local Branch of Cimcool Europe, maintaining and growing the local Cimcool business. Besides managing and coordinating day-to-day business, responsibilities include managing, coordinating, building and developing the local team and business as well as ensuring compliance with local legislation and other applicable regulations and requirements. The Branch Manager is reports directly to the Managing Director of Cimcool EMEA.
Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Creating and supporting new business and sales opportunities;
- Visiting Customers, Prospects and Distributors, creating new opportunities for growth;
- Negotiating local contracts and agreements, Managing existing business including (direct and indirect) customer relationships;
- Implementing marketing & sales techniques and methodologies;
- Developing an annual sales and growth plan for each sales area;
- Initiating and organizing sales activities;
- Developing, monitoring and maintaining annual sales plan and budget
- Providing proactive commercial and marketing support to head office initiatives;
- Managing and coaching Local Sales and Technical team;
- Manage agreed geographical area (territory);
Knowledge and Experience
- Degree in Chemical or relevant Technical Engineering
- Fundamental understanding of general finance and management
- Several years of successful commercial experience in a value selling B2B environment, leading teams
- Successful in new business acquisition
- Fluent in German and English. Additional language skills are considered a plus
- Current network in Metalworking fluids / Industrial cleaners
- Knowledge of Cleaners, heat treatment and special lubrication is preferable due to product line extensions with further DuBois integration
