Team Lead Merchandising Desi in München bei Westwing Home & Living GmbH

As Team Lead Merchandising Design, you will own the look & feel of the Westwing Shop site & newsletter, working closely with the Head of Digital Merchandising and the Vice President of Brand and Creative. Coming with exceptional graphic design expertise, aesthetic eye, copywriting knowledge & high attention to detail, you will take the Westwing brand strategy and incorporate it into Shop content, delivering on our vision to excite people to create homes that unlock the full beauty of life. WHAT YOU'LL DO

• translate the Westwing brand strategy into visual guidelines for the Shop, ensuring adherence to established visual standards, and create Shop assets of all kinds
• apply brand design guidelines to develop high-quality and inspiring Shop onsite assets, e.g., all home page banners, shop the look, etc.
• stay up-to-date with industry trends, design techniques, and emerging technologies, incorporating relevant insights into Shop design
• present design concepts and rationale to internal stakeholders, incorporating their feedback and iteratively refining designs based on insights
• lead a team of five people, including graphic designers, copywriter and merchandiser
• report directly to the Head of Merchandising and collaborate closely with the Vice President of Brand and Creative

YOU COME WITH

• 5+ years of professional experience preferably in home & living, fashion or lifestyle as well as a degree in Graphic Design, Fashion, Arts, Communication or other relevant field
• excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale clearly to both creative and non-creative stakeholders
• experience in leading teams with background in graphic design and copywriting
• team skills, flexibility, hands-on mentality as well as strategic thinking
• ability to prioritize and quickly pivot projects
• experience and knowledge in graphic design and copy are a big plus
• knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator & Premier
• fluency in English and German
