What you will do
Technical collaboration in the front-end laboratory of the Photonic Components department
Implementation of semiconductor technology processes for the production of optoelectronic components
Operation of modern and highly complex wafer processing systems
Documentation of results and creation of ISO documents
Contributing own ideas, concepts and process improvements
What you bring to the table
Completed training as a microtechnologist, physical-technical assistant, chemical-technical assistant, physics laboratory assistant or a similar qualification
Relevant practical professional experience in the processing of semiconductors (e.g. Si or III-V), e.g. in the field of UV lithography, dry etching, metallization or microanalysis
Extensive practical experience of many years in assembly technology in the areas of micro-assembly, soldering, wire bonding or flip-chip technologies
Confident manual handling of wafers or micro components
Willingness to work in a clean room
Ability to work in a team, flexibility and a structured way of working - even in time-critical situations

The position is initially limited to 2 years. An extension is explicitly desired.
The weekly working time is 39 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis.
