Student Assistant (m/f/o) for 3D Laser Scanning of Human Faces bei Technische Universität München
We are looking for a student assistant (m/f/d) to help us build a high-quality 3D scanning dataset of human faces.
Our research is aiming at creating realistic digital, animatable human heads. We need help with capturing hundreds of human faces. Depending on your interest in 3D computer vision and Deep Learning you can get more involved in the project and deploy your ideas to improve the data capture and processing. Start of work: As early as possible.
Your Activities
- Operating a robotic 3D scanning set-up for human faces
- Management and processing of captured data
- Interaction with and instructing study participants
- Depending on Interest: Deployment of classical computer vision algorithms or deep learning models for automatic annotations, processing and compressing data.
You should bring this with you:
- Interest in research on digital humans, 3D computer vision
- Basic Knowledge of computer vision and deep learning
- Proficient English skills. German is a plus.
- Experience in Programming, e.g. Python, C++
