The Company:

A leading renewables developer and IPP at the forefront of the global energy transition. Due to the successful acquisition of an exciting pipeline of European projects, which has paved the way for further expansion, they require a VP of projects to define and shape their project execution strategy, build up the engineering and project execution teams and contribute significantly to the organisation’s success across their Offshore Wind, Onshore Wind & Solar PV portfolios.

The Role:

Oversee the successful execution of a 10GW+ European renewable energy portfolio
Grow the businesses Engineering and Project Management departments
Help to shape and define the company’s 5+ year project development and execution strategy
Drive a team of high performing Project Directors/Senior Project Managers to ensure success across the portfolio
Organise and lead meetings with executive stakeholders to identify new business opportunities
Progression to Head of Global PMO

The Person:

The successful candidate will likely have the following:
Bachelors degree in Engineering – Electrical, Civil or related
10+ years’ experience successfully developing and executing complex, multi-discipline, high value projects in the energy sector
Strong communication and interpersonal skills - ability to liaise and build relationships with a broad range of stakeholders
Fluent in English – German is a plus
