We are looking for a Carrier & Transport Manager to ensure that parcels from and to rebuy are moving as efficiently and conveniently as possible, bringing joy to our customers, and that products move smartly between our warehouses.

How you’ll spend your time at rebuy:

Your first three months at rebuy will look like this

• You will go through a comprehensive onboarding in the operations area and get to know all transport- and shipping-related processes hands-on.

• You will get to know our current carrier and transport partners and understand the leading carrier and transport KPIs we are paying attention to

• You will understand our current contracts and, step by step, take over the communication with our shipping and transport partners.

Your tasks during the first year at rebuy

• You develop suitable measures to improve the shipping experience for our customers and our intra-warehouse logistics with the help of our product team.

• You will ensure that our daily carrier and transport operations are running smoothly in close collaboration with our shipping and transport partners and operations managers.

• You will contribute to our strategy of utilising our existing carrier products more cost-efficiently and considering new providers in collaboration with our procurement team.

• You will set up continuous monitoring of carrier service levels, reliability, environmental impact and other critical metrics by working closely with our data team.

Your tasks beyond the first year

• You will strive for more environmentally friendly shipping and transport solutions and work towards clear CO2 reduction goals.

• You will optimise our processes and carrier utilisation to reach superior service levels.

• You will maintain strong and trusting relationships with our shipping and transport partners, focusing on continuous improvement of transport & delivery performance, cost efficiencies and service enhancements.

• You will lead the carrier tendering (selection) process, from defining our business requirements to drawing a contract and hand-over to day-to-day operations in close cooperation with the procurement team.

• When you manage the growth of our business in transport volumes and requirements and still keep costs under control

• Experience in the management of shipping or transport providers

• Personal network in Transport & Logistics environment

• Preferably you have worked in an environment where you integrated CEP (courier, express and parcel) or transport

• Experience in handling new services (business development) in the transport logistics

• Experience working in a cross-collaborative environment (Operations, Product and Procurement liaison)

• Proficiency in English and German

• Experience working across multiple locations where our warehouses are situated
