Established in 1973, the FIA WORLD RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP (WRC) is widely regarded as the most challenging motorsport championship in the world. In 2023, the roads on this epic motorsport adventure are spread across 13 rallies on everything from snow packed forest tracks to rock-strewn mountain passes. The WRC Promoter GmbH is responsible for all commercial aspects of the WRC since 2013. Through its aligned company Rallycross Promoter GmbH this position will also work for the promotion of FIA World Rallycross Championship and the FIA European Rallycross Championship.

Across its portfolio of championships, in 2024 and beyond WRC Promoter will be responsible for over 30 major motorsport events per year, spread throughout the world, and involving a large number of automotive, broadcast and commercial stakeholders.

BUILDING SUCCESS

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful execution and activation of partnerships.
• Be the main contact to selected key accounts in the WRC and ERC on a daily basis, building strong relationships while making sure that the customer satisfaction is maximized.

EXECUTION

• Effectively identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities of partnerships within WRC, ERC and RX.
• Prepare and deliver high quality sales presentations and proposals to existing and potential clients.

EXPANDING BUSINESS

• Identify and approach potential sponsors and brand partners to secure new business opportunities through market research and analysis.

SUPPORT

• Assist in the development of sales strategies and plans for WRC, ERC and RX to achieve revenue targets.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

• University degree or commercial training with relevant professional or educational development
• Fluent in English and German – additional languages an advantage
• 2-5 years of experience in account management / partnership development and/or sales management, preferably in sponsorship and brand partnerships, or a related field.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Proactive and results-oriented, with a drive to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to priorities tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team under pressure.
• Passionate about motorsport and familiar with the WRC, ERC and RX brands and values.
