A Snapshot of Your Day
Your day will start with a check-in among your colleagues to discuss your experiences made in the projects and to talk about new technical approaches. Subsequent you define your work agenda and prepare for upcoming technical customer negotiations in the afternoon for new High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) Wind Park connections in the North Sea. You will discuss civil engineering topics and concepts with your interdisciplinary Project team and explain the technical implementation based on your customer requirements. The afternoon starts with a customer call to present solutions. After the meeting with the customer you have a progress meeting with your site management team and the civil contractor in order to align the civil construction time schedule and interfaces with other contractors.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Project management civil engineering for HVDC projects
- Coordination of civil engineering process with all parties involved in the design (internal and external)
- Preparation of BoQ’s and civil specifications for tendering of construction and engineering services, evaluation of tenders and final contract negotioations
- Coordination and management of all civil contractors involved in the construction process
- Monitoring of time schedule, costs, and quality of the entire construction process
- Contracts and Claimmanagement
What You Bring
- University degree in civil engineering, ideally completed semester abroad or internships abroad
- Several years of relevant professional experience in industrial and plant construction. Applications with first work experience are also welcome.
- Good technical knowledge in all areas of civil engineering as well as good handling of MS Office tools, ideally iTwo
- Business fluent in German and English and ideally knowledge of other languages (French, Italian, Spanish)
- Ability to work in a team, assertiveness, initiative, communication skills as well as planning and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel worldwide
