ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
The Junior Corporate Finance Manager is responsible for the preparation of the financial statements in accordance with local and international requirements from audit and legal perspective.
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
Preparation of the financial statements both IFRS and HGB for all German entities- Supporting the preparation of the YE reports following legal requirements for all German entities
- Managing the end to end intercompany recharging process
- Fixed assets and leased assets reporting – managing the engagement with all stakeholders, accuracy checks, postings and tracking of the assets
- Ensure the financials are Audit and SOX compliant also complying with internal control and governance procedures
- Monitoring of Capital and Reserves
- Preparation of external reports for different stakeholders
- Participation in various projects (simplification/automation, standardization, deep dive analysis)
- Provisions and accruals end to end process involvement
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Preferably University graduate in Finance/Economics but it’s not a must or completed vocational training
- Fluent in German and good English communication both written and speaking
- Good knowledge of common application software e.g., SAP and MS Office
- Good administrative and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload
- A can do attitude and a solution finding mindset
