How to contribute to our vision
- Ensures the closing of the books on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis in accordance with IFRS and German GAAP, taking into account internal guidelines as well.
- Oversee and manage all accounting transactions (e.g. in A/P or A/R accounting, in maintenance of the general ledger, account reconciliation's, journal entries, payroll accounting, etc.). Coordinate with internal and external shared service center.
- Manage the preparation of balance sheet, P&L reports, annual financial statements for statutory purposes and reports respectively to local management.
- Act as a competent key contact for several accounting and non-accounting related topics
- Coordinate other departments, especially business controlling, treasury, external service providers, etc.
- Support internal and external stakeholders such as local management, corporate headquarters and auditors are also part of his area of responsibility.
- Cooperate with local authorities in taxation and liaise with local tax consultants and banks.
- Participate in task force activities as well as large transformation projects (ERP-system/tool-interfaces related as well as M&A).
- Execute and implement new accounting regulations and internal controls are part of the area of responsibility as well as the participation in projects for process optimization, harmonization, automation, digitalization and standardization.
- Ensure internal controls are in place, and accounting complies with all external regulations. Cooperate with internal Auditors.
- Create statistical reports for key internal and external stakeholders is another area of responsibility.
What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for…
- Bachelor / master’s degree (or equivalent) in accounting, finance or related field
- Extensive work experiences and extensive knowledge in financial accounting
- Project management expertise & first leadership experience desired
- Proficient in SAP (preferably S4 HANA) & Microsoft Office
- Team player and ability to work both independently and in multi-national teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Very good German and good English skills
