Become a part of our extraordinary growth story in the Kleinanzeigen PRO Business Area and work with us to extend our presence, user base and value proposition as No. 1 horizontal marketplace in Germany by joining our team as a Strategic Business Development Manager (d/f/m).

Besides the huge offer of private listings, Kleinanzeigen is the perfect platform for commercial users to market their goods and services. Our paid business product PRO is one of Kleinanzeigen’s biggest success stories and forms our professional offering for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) with a local presence.
As part of the Business Development Team, you will work collaboratively across sales, marketing, product development, analytics and customer support and other internal and external partners. You will be a member of a dynamic, impactful team that succeeds together to define the future of Kleinanzeigen’s PRO category.
Your role

Be at the forefront of continuously developing and extending our professional seller proposition

Lead and scale projects in a cross-functional team that have high impact on our business or processes. Find and quantify new opportunities and build new processes in a high-growth market and team. (e.g. onboarding processes, knowledge management, hiring excellence, feature prioritization…).

Together with your team you will build new value for our customers by identifying and evaluating market trends and translating these into concrete projects and next steps.

You will provide guidance for iterating and delivering our strategy, external communication and product roadmap in close collaboration with the Product- & Tech-, Sales- and Marketing teams.

From strategy to execution: Be responsible for structuring and leading core commercial projects (e.g. pricing, market expansion), that will craft our PRO business. You will collaborate and align with team members to get agreement on priorities & adjust course if new information comes to light.

You define, supervise and communicate performance vs. OKRs together with your team.
Your Profile

Bachelor’s degree (or similar) in a business-related field or relevant professional experience

Minimum 3 years of strong experience in a similar role with at least 1-2 years in project management

Experienced in transforming creative ideas into practical reality. You can look at existing situations and problems in novel ways and come up with solutions.

Comfortable working in a Agile technology environment. You believe in collaboration, empowering teams and Agile ways of working.

Excellent collaboration skills. You partner with all members of the Kleinanzeigen organization, incl. top management.

Familiarity with SMB target group and experience in platform business will be beneficial.

You are proficient in English, good level of German language skills.
