Trainee Product/Application Marketing Automotive (f/m/div) - International Graduate Program in München bei Infineon Technologies
Are you ready to start your career in a fast-moving, future-oriented environment? The International Graduate Program (IGP) at Infineon gives you full insight into how we come up with innovations. Our products enable self-driving cars, help save tons of CO2, and allow contactless (and secure!) credit cards payments. Joining the IGP will give you the big picture of Infineon: Over the course of 18 months, you have at least three different assignments – one of them abroad. By working in different departments, you can get an idea of what suits you best. From the beginning, you’ll have a chance to roll up your sleeves and take on challenging tasks. Besides that, you have the opportunity to build strong global relationships across sites, functions and departments, and to meet the global IGP community face to face and at virtual conferences. And if that isn’t enough, you’ll have permanent employee status from the start.
As an IGP Product/Application Marketing Trainee for our Automotive Division you will work on your own projects, get in depth-knowledge of product marketing and strategy, while working with cross functional project-teams. Within the different assignments, projects and classroom trainings you will build many of the strengths we ask from our future leaders in our organizations.
Your program consists of the following elements:
- At the Munich Headquarters , you will take over product/application marketing task within the product/application lifecycle process and contribute to the strategy
- An international assignment of 4 – 8 months either in Asia or the United States to cover the different areas of our global interdisciplinary teams (i.e. Sales, Regional Marketing, Technical Marketing, Supply Chain management, or similar) and to build up your own network
- You will support the definition of the product/application strategy based on customer needs and market analyses
- You will be the product/application marketing representative in cross functional project-teams to understand customer requirements, product/application features and values and to meet customer’s and Infineon’s business needs with the focus on decarbonization and digitalization trends
- You are part of a global interdisciplinary expert team consisting of product marketing, application marketing product development, quality, sales and regional marketing
- You will be actively engaged with a global team and get insights into digital marketing, technical marketing and supply chain planning
You are curious and interested in a broad range of topics and always try to get new insights and ideas. You don’t expect things to be handed to you on a silver platter. You question existing assumptions, put the customer at the heart of your actions and love change – which is guaranteed in the semiconductor industry. You are pragmatic and analytic, because we need both at Infineon. Standing still is not your thing. You find inspiration in working with different kinds of people, collaborating with your colleagues beyond borders on the big picture.
Plus, you fulfill the following qualifications:
- A degree in Business Administration with appropriate technical know-how or a degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or Industrial Engineering with knowledge in Business Administration/Marketing
- Already gained practical experience in the industry e.g. through internships during your studies, ideally abroad
- A methodological and analytical mindset and the ability to understand, summarize and present complex topics
- A strategic mindset and entrepreneurial thinking
- A high affinity for decarbonization and digitalization, technology and market trends
- Fluent in English with excellent communication and presentation skills and German as a plus
And you fully agree with these statements:
- I am an ambitious and open-minded person who loves to get to know new people and learn about new topics
- When I think about moving to another country for at least three months , I want to start packing my bags
- I like to work in teams that are very diverse and in which everyone speaks English
- I can’t wait to present a concept to team and managers – and I don’t mind doing it in English
- My friends describe me as “ highly independent and self-motivated team player ”
