As an interdisciplinary and international battery research team at Hilti, we offer you a varied internship in the field of high-power batteries with a special focus on battery testing development. We are looking for a motivated Master´s student with an engineering/science background who is motivated to learn more about lithium-ion batteries and wants to join us in developing advanced test methods for the evaluation of high-performance batteries for power tools.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?
As part of your job, you will support us in developing advanced
test methods for our lithium-ion batteries. Your area of responsibility includes the independent preparation and execution of electrochemical battery tests
as well as the subsequent evaluation and interpretation of the results.
Own ideas for optimization in the context of practical laboratory work and data evaluation are welcome. You will be involved in day-to-day operations and project-related work.
The opportunity to visit our Innovation Center in Schaan (Liechtenstein) and work there to support our cross-location team on site will round off the internship.
We have 900 of the world’s best engineers developing and testing tomorrow’s technical solutions in our innovation center in Liechtenstein and Kaufering.

WHAT YOU NEED IS:
- You are a team player
- You are a master student in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, materials science, or comparable discipline
- You have first knowledge in the field of (lithium-ion) batteries
- You have first laboratory experience in battery testing
(preferable but not mandatory) - You want to learn more about high-power batteries
- You have first experience in programming with MATLAB
- You are fluent in English
- You like studying and working in an international team
