PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT INSPIRED BY YOU - YOUR TASKS
The Vehicle & Advanced Electronics Development Group works in an interdisciplinary field of Top Hat Development, starting with Craftsmanship, Ergonomics, Package, followed by HMI Software and Hardware, as well as the layout and performance of Driver Assist Systems.
Under consideration of the Mazda philosophy and the unique factors of the European Market, the teams are analyzing and defining requirements for current and future vehicle generations.
Your varying tasks are particularly:
Evaluation of vehicle and sub systems of the Top Hat Development
Independent preparation, installation and operation of measurement equipment
Self-driven analysis of measurement data with common software tools
Digital documentation of system and concepts including post-processing
Market research and analysis of press material
Performing/supporting of static and dynamic tests, as well as road tests (project-dependent)
Pro-active involvement of own ideas and improvement proposals
PASSION MEETS POWER - YOUR PROFILE
Engineering Student with successfully finished main courses (Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, Human Factors Engineering or similar) or students from other studies (e.g. Psychology)
Automotive enthusiast with high interest in future trends and developments
Basic knowledge in the fields of CAN Communication, perceived quality, connected services, 3D-printing
First experience in measurement recording and analysis would be appreciated (e.g. by CANoe/CANape, Matlab, Excel/VBA)
Experienced in using MS Office
EU Driver’s license (at least for passenger cars)
Business fluent in English language
Willingness to work in an international team
Motivation, flexibility as well as a pro-active and independent working style
Availability of 6 months
Depending on availability, an accommodation in our Guesthouse can be provided for the duration of the internship.
