General Information:

The position is also available in Bremen.

Your Tasks:

• Management of material development projects
• Assessment of materials, technologies and products
• Validation of test procedures
• Planning, coordination and evaluation of material tests
• Creation and maintenance of material specifications
• Crossfunctional communication in a matrix organization

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering or technical expert with focus material, joining technology, metal alloys and composites.
• Joining technology, especially safety-relevant bolt connections
• Creation of specifications, reports, documents and (new) design thresholds
• Evaluation of test results
• Experience in assessment of technologies, materials and suppliers
• Knowledge in the field of aluminium casting and composite materials technologies are advantageous
• Good communication skills in english and german
