In this role, you will be responsible for handling escalated service issues, monitoring customer service levels, tracking and determining source of issues trends, and developing an improvement plan. You will ensure timely turnaround of all customer service correspondence. You have experience in Customer Service, good written communication skills in German and English.
A snapshot of this opportunity
- Expertly use the appropriate the BCD Travel tools and systems to complete requests
- Provide consultation on problem resolution and options
- Follow up on calls made to the 24-hour (T24) support desk
- Maintain and actively communicate current knowledge of the state of the various travel industries supported (air, car, hotel, etc.)
- Consistently meet and sometimes exceed individual and team goals
- Adhere to BCD Travel policies and procedures to maintain quality control
- Use industry and system knowledge to find the root cause of an issue, explore and find alternatives and solutions and appropriately advise/educate the customer
How you can set yourself apart
- Prior experience in a corporate travel office or customer service roles
- Proficiency in specified airline reservations system is a plus
- Demonstrated problem solving and customer service skills
- Spoken and written communication skills in German and English.
- Proven ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to work independently, exercising discretion, and judgment
- Customer Service experience preferred
- Hotel or Car Rental background is an asset
